The placement station is equipped with one Pick and Place Head and 6-Segment Collect and Place Head with integrated component vision. The placement station is capable to handle a component range from 0.6mm x 0.3mm (0201) up to 55mm x 55mm as a standard. Larger components are possible on request. The placement station handles PCBs from size 50mm x 50mm (2 inch x 2 inch) up to 508mm x 460mm (20 inch x 18 inch). The placement station is equipped with one movable changeover table, with a capacity of 59 x 8mm tapes, for fast setup and changeovers. Tape disposal is made easy with the integrated automatic tape cutters. In addition the placement station is equipped with a Waffle Pack Changer. Storage capacity of 28 WTC (Waffle Pack Tray Carrier), max. size of Waffle Pack Tray 240mm x 340mm x 13mm. Tray changeover time 2.5s. Next to the WPC a fixed changeover table is mounted with a capacity of 29 x 8mm tracks.
