The machine features a component feeder capacity of 144 x 8mm tapes. Four 12-Segment Collect and Place Heads with integrated component vision system are capable to handle a component range from 0201 up to 18,7mm x 18,7mm. For the placement of 0201 components the 0201 package phase 2 (item no. 118020) and the component sensor (item no.118021) are recommended. Depending on customers requirements SIPLACE X2 can be equipped with 20-segment Collect and Place (item no: 119732), 12-segment Collect and Place (item no: 119731) 6-segment Collect and Place head (item no: 119730) or a twin head (item no. 119733) each head includes a component camera. The heads should be ordered separately with the placement station, one head must be ordered for each gantry of the placement station. The following head combinations are possible: (Placementarea1/Placementarea2): 20/20, 12/12, 12/6, 6/6, TH/TH, 20/TH, 20/12, 20/6, 12/TH, 6/TH. The component range depends on the head configuration. The maximum component range is between 0.6mm x 0.3mm (0201) to 27mm x 27mm. The max.height is 8.5mm.
