The placement station provides a feeder capacity of maximum 18 0 x 8mm tapes. The placement station is equipped with a 12-Segment Colle ct and Place Head respectively a 6-Segment Collect and Place Head or a T win Head. The following head configurations are included as standard sco pe of delivery: Gantry 1: Twin Head (item no. 119620) Gantry 3: Twin Hea d (item no. 119620). By ordering an HF placement station an additional d efinition of the placement head configuration in placement area 1 and 2 (ex SW 505)is required: 12-Segment Collect and Place Head (item no. 1196 16), 6-Segment Collect and Place Head (item no. 119615), Twin Head (ite m no. 119620). In placement area 2 only the Twin Head (pre SW 505)will b e available. Depending on the head configuration the placement station i s capable to handle a component range starting with 0.6mm x 0.3mm (0201) or alternatively 1.5mm x 0.8mm (0603) up to 50mm x 50mm (dual nozzle op eration) or 125mm x 10mm (single nozzle operation). Max. component heigh t is 25mm. Larger components are possible (on request). For 0201 placeme nt we recommend the 0201 Package Phase 2 (item no. 118020). At all locations the changeover table is configured as a standard and enables a fast setup and changeovers. The Matrix Tray Changer 2 (item no.116438) is available as an option for locations 2 and 4. An easy tape disposal is provided with the integrated automatic tape cutters. Standard height placement station is 830mm. The Windows based station computer with touc h screen monitor is the operators interface to the placement system. Fou r days of basic instructions and pre acceptance at suppliers site per li ne are included in the placement station order.
